Shrimps/Prawns with Garlic
Ingredients:
- 1 lb. shrimps/prawns
- 5(big) or 8(small) cloves of garlic(chopped)
- 1 tbsp. olive oil
- half tsp. butter(optional)
- salt(sea salt is better) and pepper
- a pinch of chili or cayenne powder(depends how spicy you want the recipe to be)
Directions:
- Wash the shrimps/prawns and place them in a frying pan.
- Add 1 TBS of water then add garlic, chili/cayenne powder, salt and pepper and cover.
- Cook over medium heat for 1 to 2 minutes
- Reduce heat to low and cook for 4-5 more minutes until the the shrimps/prawns are cooked(do not overcook).
- Shake the frying pan or stir the ingredients as they cook.
- Add extra virgin olive oil with half a tsp of butter(optional) after cooking.
